Universidad de Antioquia

Universidad de Antioquia (UdeA) is a public university located in Medellín, Colombia’s second largest city. Founded in 1803, it is Colombia’s oldest public university and the second largest overall. It is currently home to over 37.000 students spread over its main campus and 12 other regional campuses. Thanks to its 25 Schools, the University of Antioquia offers more than 100 undergraduate programs, 66 master’s degrees and 33 doctorate programs in all fields of knowledge. It is also recognized as one of the three best Colombian research Universities and has Colombia’s highest percentage of excellence research group according to the National Board of Science and Technology.
